About this system
DECO-GUARD 243 is a 1/8” to 3/16” urethane concrete with a flake broadcast. 243 is specifically formulated for areas which are prone to swings in temperatures or thermal cycling. A major benefit of this system is that it is resistant to high moisture results from ASTM F-1869 and F-2170. The decorative flake broadcast is sealed with clear, UV-resistant polyaspartic.
COMMON APPLICATIONS
Floor areas where beauty, clean ability and thermal shock are all critical performance characteristics.Typically installed over clean prepared concrete. Specific applications include, but are not limited to:
- institutional and correctional kitchens
- food and beverage manufacturing
- cage wash areas
- vivariums
- clean rooms and retail showrooms
Optional Finish Coats:
U-21 G, LL No VOC, clear, waterborne, Urespartic™, gloss or low luster, UV, graffiti and abrasion, resistant, LEED compliant.
U-51 with #1335 or similar
Polymer Nation offers 3 categories of finish Textures. Texture A is our smoothest finish. Texture B is our mid-level slip resistant finish and Texture C is our highest level slip resistant finish. Custom textures can be engineered to meet specific design requirements. A mock up is recommended as the best way to ensure customer satisfaction.
