About the product

W-52 CK Urethane Concrete Cove Base is a high-performance 3-part system formulated for industrial coving. It utilizes a water-based urethane resin and aromatic hardener combined with Portland cement, lime, and proprietary fillers. This composition delivers best-in-class impact and thermal shock resistance with very low VOC content (<50 g/L), minimal odor, and ease of application. It can be applied to green concrete and formed to 1/8”–1/4” thickness in a single pass using a cove trowel.

The system includes Part A (44.5 oz), Part B (32 oz), and Part C (30 lbs), pre-measured for efficient mixing. With a working time of 15–20 minutes and dry-to-light-use time of 16–24 hours, it minimizes downtime while delivering Shore D hardness of 78 after 7 days. It’s ideal for manufacturing, food processing, and other environments requiring hygienic and durable transitions.

W-52 CK can be applied over SP-71 or SP-81 primers while tacky. C-99 is recommended as a trowel lubricant. Coverage is approximately 32 linear feet per mix when forming a 4” cove with 1” radius. Colors include Natural, Tile Red, Light Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, Black, and Tan. The system is self-extinguishing (ASTM D635), highly abrasion-resistant (0.029g loss per ASTM D4060), and delivers excellent adhesion to concrete (>450 psi).
